I wanted to post a blog dedicated to music as a whole. Every genre, every artist, every song, all so unique. I am so grateful for everything music has brought me, how it has been a reliable empathetic companion all my life. No matter the situation, it has been there for me to hold my hand, open my eyes, cradle me into comfort, and uplift my spirits. Music from the 60s-90s has resonated with me in ways other's will never understand. It is not just a "love", it is an undeniable and unbreakable bond that I have and will cherish forever. Thank you, music.
sharing music that has been there for me throughout my life, the ups and downs. I wanted to share some of that happiness and comfort with the world. no rap, no mosh pits, just the classics.

Bruce Springsteen
One word- iconic. Bruce Springsteen has remained such an iconic part of the 70s/80s. My mother has shared stories of her memories associated with Bruce Springsteen- the era of high school, and how it takes her back to those "Glory Days" *wink wink*. We always listen to his music in the summer, and whenever I hear his raspy voice I think about all the good times in the sun. Bruce Springsteen, you are a legend.

Rick Nelson- "Lonesome Town"
"Lonesome Town", one of the most emotionally-provoking songs I have ever listened to. The lyrics compel this battle in my heart and mind between sadness that is worded so beautifully, making it a true piece of art. The song is tied together perfectly with Rick Nelson's angelic voice. "In the town of broken dreams, the streets are filled with regret. Maybe down in Lonesome Town, I can learn to forget".
