music for my soul

sharing music that has been there for me throughout my life, the ups and downs. I wanted to share some of that happiness and comfort with the world. no rap, no mosh pits, just the classics.

My photo
Isabelle
Born and raised in Long Island in a town near NYC called Garden City.... I moved to the East Bay of CA in middle school. Moving in 7th grade wasn't easy (that's all I'll say about that) Then, in 9th grade, I tore my ACL, MCL and meniscus and as a multi-sport athlete who wants to play lacrosse in college that was really difficult. Music is and always has been my outlet...it's always there for me during the ups and downs. Unlike other 17 year olds, I love music from older eras - the 60s to the 80s and am known to be an "Old Soul". This blog is meant to share my favorite artists and their songs with you to comfort and relax the mind, heart and soul. I'm also the President of Cause for Paws, a philanthropic organization that supports and advances animal safety and rescue all over the world. Ask me about our fundraising efforts. It's worthwhile AND fun.
